Through the JAB Canid Education and Conservation Center we can make a difference in our lives and the lives of animals we share this beautiful world with.

We believe that all animals have the right to exist,
not just as a species, but as an individual.

In order to become a volunteer for the JABCECC, we require the following:

·       Provide a resume/CV

·       Complete the form below, sign the Volunteer Waiver and liability form, and the Volunteer requirements form.

·       Purchase a JABCECC shirt ($10) to be worn at all events/encounters when representing the center

·       Attend an onboarding training

Volunteering for the JABCECC can be a fulfilling activity.  We are currently an all volunteer non-profit.  We offer an opportunity for our volunteers to be an instrumental part of creating a non-profit center from the ground up, a non-profit unlike any other. Another benefit to volunteering is that we can provide documentation to your school, employer, etc on the hours you have volunteered, provide recommendations to potential job opportunities, and provide opportunities within the center for advancement and learning new skills.

We request the volunteer make a commitment on the number of hours (minimum 8 hours) they will volunteer per month and how many months (minimum 6 months) they will make said commitment.  We provide a calendar of our volunteer opportunities at the beginning of every month, the volunteer is required to commit to their volunteer dates by the 5th of every month to ensure we have appropriate coverage at all of our events and can appropriately plan our events and programs.

Volunteer activities: We have varied types of needs at the center where volunteers can make a huge impact.
